Just to prove we are still not resting on our laurels......Simon and Lee's Pilgrimage to Fox's PulpitOn the unassuming Firbank Fell between Kendal and Sedbergh, is a place of pilgrimage known as Fox's Pulpit. Here in 1652, fresh from his vision on Pendle Hill, George Fox addressed a multitude and thus began the Quaker movement "The Society of Friends"Adjacent to the memorial tablet is a small graveyard where a church once stood. This is an evocative spot and will cause many to lift their eyes to Heaven. So ends my sermon and history lesson Lol
