More Training......

Just to prove we are still not resting on our laurels......
Simon and Lee's Pilgrimage to Fox's Pulpit
On the unassuming Firbank Fell between Kendal and Sedbergh, is a place of pilgrimage known as Fox's Pulpit. Here in 1652, fresh from his vision on Pendle Hill, George Fox addressed a multitude and thus began the Quaker movement "The Society of Friends"
Adjacent to the memorial tablet is a small graveyard where a church once stood. This is an evocative spot and will cause many to lift their eyes to Heaven.
So ends my sermon and history lesson Lol

The loop they did was Honister Pass to Newlands Pass onto Whinlatter Pass and then back over Honister Pass at a gradient of 25% what a Grueller!!! It has however, since come to light tht the challenge of bagging Three passes.... no mean feat was NOT completed by all three..... no names mentioned Doll!!

Gary collecting at Kendal town football club on parkside road.. they played Manchester City in a friendly. Gary cotton and Michael Bracken collected funds with bucket and raised £92…. Man city players and coaching in dug out would not cough up!!...tight gits…
